death

Please
Don't just burn me to the ashes
And turn me into dust
I was ablazed when I lived i would hate to die as one
For I lived with courage and love was must

Please
I had the heart of a lover can you plough it in a field
Eyes to the mountains as they always dreamed
Keep my hands moist, they were part of the sea
Feet to the grass cus they loved to run and crash
My tongue to pages of my poetry
&
My teeth to my friends smile as you ask them of our history

Please
Don't kill me just yet,
Just keep me a bit more my words were never mine much more as they were meant to be yours
